SAUCE ON
Fried Butterfly Shrimp • Pizza Crust • Cabbage Wontons
Ingredients
1 blood orange
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp minced ginger
4 red fresno chili (add more for spicier sauce)
1/4 cup cooking sherry
1/4 cup soy sauce
5 garlic clove
1/2 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp water
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Preparation
1.
To a food processor add red fresno chili and garlic cloves. Pulse 5 times until minced

To a medium sized sauce pan over high heat add rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, red pepper flake, ginger, blood orange, minced red fresno/garlic and cooking sherry. Bring to a simmer and turn down to medium heat for 5min

Mix corn starch and water together. Add to sauce pan. Bring to simmer Until bubbling and then turn off heat. Let cool for 10 minutes

Serve with FRIED BUTTERFLIED SHRIMP!!!
