
SAUCE ON
Grilled Chicken Thigh • Smoked Babyback Ribs • Roasted Sweet Potato
Ingredients

7 habaneros
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup water
4 garlic clove
1 tbsp candied habanero brine
3/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp mustard
1/2 white onion
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp worcestershire
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Preparation
1.
Into a small sauce pan put water, white sugar, 1 garlic clove, and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a simmer and turn off heat.

Cut habaneros in half and de-seed. Put habaneros into a jar and pour sugar/apple cider vinegar/water mixture over habaneros and fill to the top. Let cool and put in refrigerator over night

Chop up white onion and garlic. Into a medium sized sauce pan, put olive oil, white onion, garlic and candied habanero. Cook for 5min until onions are translucent

To the same sauce pan, add ketchup, brown sugar, candied habanero brine, worcestershire, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and turn off heat. Using an immersion blender or food processor, blend for 30 seconds.
