SAUCE ON
NY Strip Steak • Mediterranean Salad • Chicken Thigh Tacos
Ingredients
1/2 cup dark rum
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup worcestershire
2 tbsp dijon mustard
1/2 white onion
4 garlic cloves
1/2 orange zest/juice
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tbsp celery seed
1 tbsp olive oil
Preparation
1.
To a small bowl add golden raisins and dark rum. Let sit for at least 10 min.

To a medium sized sauce pan over medium heat add olive oil, onion and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes

Dispose the rum from the golden raisins and add the rum soaked golden raisins to the sauce pot. Cook for 5 min.

To the medium sized sauce pan add ketchup, dijon mustard, celery salt, worcestershire, soy sauce, orange zest/juice, and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a simmer, stir and cook for 5 minutes
5.
Using an immersion blender or standup blender, blend the cooked mixture for 30 seconds.
6.
Enjoy with STEAK!
