SAUCE ON
Filet Mignon • Bone-In Pork Chop • Mushroom Pasta
Ingredients
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 protein (i.e steak, chicken, tofu)
1 cup half and half
1 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
Preparation
1.
Bring cast iron pan up to high heat. Season steak with seasoning of choice. Sear steak on both sides. Remove steak and let rest for 5 minutes.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add half and half and cook for an additional 30 seconds. After half and half has cooked down, add dijon mustard. Bring to a simmer.

Add onion powder and smoked paprika. Cook for 1 minute. Add water, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer. Sauce is ready when can coat the back of a wood spoon

Turn off heat. Add butter. Stir for 20 seconds and serve with steak.
